Never again, Avast.Enabling JavaScript and cookies in your web browser He offered lame and spurious excuses for their lack of response - "You emailed at the weekend, and there is no one here to answer emails at the weekend" - but finally said he would process the refunds and I would receive them within 3 working days. The customer service agent was patronising and aggressive - "So you don't want your computer to be protected?" - which made me even more angry. I got no response to my emails, so after a week I phoned them. As soon as this became apparent, I tried to cancel my purchases and get refunded (there is a 30-day window for this). Should i pay for avast on my mac software#
After trying the product for a few days, I decided to request a refund as the software was slowing down my computer (a 10-year-old Macbook) too much! It's been about three weeks now and after lots of going back-and-forth, they are still pretending that they can't track my information it would appear that they are basically using a delay tactic so they could avoid actually issuing a refund! I paid for a year of subscription with the knowledge that I would be entitled to a refund within 30 days in the event that I was not happy with the product.
